Hi y'all, my name is Ron. I was born in Florida, went to California after high school to get my engineering degree at UCLA. While in Calif. I was drafted into the Army Corp of Engineers, did a tour in Vietnam and had roles in over 40 movies as an extra, mostly in parts for horseback riding (like indians and cavalry). I was one of the few that could ride bareback without falling off, lol. I returned to Florida in 1971 and have been in the Tampa area since then.
I have 2 boys (45 and 47) and 3 grandkids in California. My family have all been "horse whisperers" and trainers for generations and I am still active in breaking and training horses and also raising Black Arabian breeding stock. My house is on a river just off the Gulf of Mexico and have a pet manatee that has adopted me.
I have been in the Freakierstuff league almost 3 years, Jules harrassed and embarrassed me into becoming a TD and I have been working with Jules as a part of her Admin Staff for over a year. Thank you Jules !!! Being a part of this league and all the friends I have made have been enjoyable and an important part of my retirement years.
